Roofing in San Marcos
Hays County: older blocks near the square, rental and student stock, and new development on the edge.
San Marcos has a downtown of older houses and small streets, a lot of roofs that have been patched for tenants, and a ring of new construction that looks like every other Texas suburb. The older deck is often plank. The new deck is OSB. They do not take nails the same way, and they do not hide rot the same way.
We serve San Marcos as part of the metro, not as a side trip we forget. Austin is in the same service blurb. If you are between the two, say so in the message. We still start with the stain, not with a reroof script.
Permits
The City of San Marcos has its own building desk. A re-roof inside the city is their permit, not San Antonio’s and not Kyle’s. Ask us to name the city on the bid. If the property is in the ETJ, we will check before we assume a city inspection.
No job photo from San Marcos is on this site yet, so there is no picture here pretending to be one.
