Storm damage and insurance claims

Hail and wind hit Central Texas hard. We help you document what is on the roof, work the claim file with you, and show why a first “declined” is not always the last word.

Declined is not always the end

We work with insurance and with you. We take real damage, not a made-up claim. Insurance is supposed to make you whole, not hand you a profit. That is the principle of indemnity.

In Texas the burden of proof sits with the homeowner. You do not have to master building code. That is our job: drip edge, flashing, valleys, dump fees, the items a first look skips. Their adjuster works for the carrier. We document what is actually on the roof. A public adjuster we partner with stays on the file with us. Some close in weeks. Some take months. We do not walk away.

Same file, fuller documentation. Story of the process only; we do not invent damage.

What we document on the roof

Clear photos and notes so the file shows real condition, not a guess from the street.

We climb and shoot the planes, ridges, valleys, and penetrations. Pipe boots, vents, drip edge, flashing, soft deck, and hail or wind marks get labeled so an adjuster can follow the same map you see. Residential and multifamily jobs use the same habit: date the shots, keep them honest, and put them in the claim file.

That documentation is what turns a thin first look into a fuller review. Declined is not always the end when the roof evidence is complete.
