WIN RAV poster: water buffalo (bison) running into the storm. Face the storm. Strength, discipline, progress.

WIN RAV

WIN RAV is personal to me.

WIN: Win the Day

Don’t scare yourself by looking too far ahead.

The week, the month, or the year can seem overwhelming when you put every step in front of you at once. Too many steps ahead can make even a manageable job look impossible.

So don’t focus on all of it.

Focus on today.

You don't have to conquer everything at once. You just have to win the day.

RAV: Run Into the Storm

A wise man from the Midwest (BV) once told me about the water buffalo (Bison).

When a storm comes, the instinct is to run away from it. But the water buffalo (Bison) is often used as a symbol of something different: turn toward the storm and run into it.

There is a lesson in that.

You can’t outrun every storm. Running away can keep you in the bad weather longer. Instead, face it. Move toward it. Get through it.

That’s the way I look at challenges.

When something difficult is in front of me, I don’t want to spend all my energy trying to avoid it. I’d rather face it, move toward it, and get to the other side.

Run Into the Storm.

That’s RAV.

And that’s why the two belong together:

WIN: Win the Day.

RAV: Run Into the Storm.

One tells me how to approach the day. The other tells me what to do when the day gets hard.

WIN RAV is personal to me. It represents how I approach my work, my business, and the challenges that come with both.

If you want to know the deeper meaning behind WIN RAV, ask me about it in person.
